PAST PROGRAM  The seminar on the screening/ diagnosis of and treatment for the mental health needs of juveniles in detention centers and justice systems, and of juveniles found incompetent to stand trial examined key topics: Psychiatric Symptoms in Incarcerated Youth; Anxiety Issues in Incarcerated Youth; Traumatizing v. Traumatized; Malingering; and A Legal Framework for Considering Juvenile Mental Health and Justice Systems. Virginia experts were faculty for this program:
