Katherine Faris, Research Assistant

Kathy Faris, BA, is a research assistant working on projects related to mental health law reform in Virginia with a special focus on the use of teleconferencing in emergency settings and civil commitment practices.  She holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and is a current Master's candidate with a focus on Research in Practice in the University of Virginia's Department of Public Health Sciences.  Her research interests include increasing access to healthcare and health education and how technology can be used to advance these goals.
